Time Capsule Project Continued...
These next four images were given to me in the recent past. The watch was given to me as a graduation present, the Zippo lighter was given to me by my girlfriend as an anniversary present and the key chain was given to me from Venice, Italy by a close friend. I chose to immortalise these images of special objects is because they are all extraordinarily important to me and I wanted to find the best way to immortalise them. These images are all edited in the same style creating a bold and strong message throughout the different images. I changed the colours to black and white and then played with the contrast, saturation and pixillation to show the pure beauty of each object. In addition, the other reason I did this was to show that I took extra time with these images because they are that "little bit" more important to my life. This is to show whoever finds the time capsule that I look after things that i care about and that if it means a lot to me, I will always find a way to cherish it that little bit extra.
I like the style that these images have been done in because they seem dark, yet beautiful at the same time. The one thing that I didn't enjoy about working with these images is the fact that they took so long to edit, which in turn ruined my time management a bit. However, I am proud of how these images turned out.
