Time Capsule Project Continued...
This image I chose to put in my time capsule is the last image that will go in. The reason I chose to place an image of Ravensbourne College in my capsule is because this is the start of my new life. This image features the bright accented colours of the green trees with the architectural beauty of Ravensbourne's building, turned into black and white to create a moment of pure beauty. This represents, to the finder of the capsule, that i have started a new chapter in my life filled with art and design. It also adds a different context to my capsule as it contains architecture.
The challenging part about this image was attempting to get a good angle and image in the rain as well as trying to capture the glory of the building without creating a monotonous pattern. The aspects that I do like about this image, is that the time of day and weather truly does accent the tree's and the colours in the building, altered to black and white, which creates a more dramatic image.
